About Doing The Math is a screencap site for the 12th episode of the 4th season of Stargate SG-1, "Tangent". It is part of the Stargate Freeze Frame Network - a directory of sites containing high quality SG-1 and Atlantis screencaps. The caps: - there are a total of 341 - each cap is 960 by 540 pixels - each cap varies from 80k to 150k in size The episode: The boys down at Area 51 have managed to jury-rig a couple of broken death gliders along with some good old Earth technology into a prototype aircraft, the X-301. The initial tests are promising, so Jack and Teal'c board the craft to do a test firing simulation. However, what they don't realize is that since Teal'c's defection, Apophis has equipped all of his gliders with a booby trap. Jack and Teal'c are soon hurtled out of Earth's atmosphere on a set course back to Chulak -- several hundred years away. Adrift in space without any way to save themselves, the folks back at the SGC (and by folks, I mean Sam), try to devise a way to save them. The first attempt fails, so Sam and Daniel head off to find a nearby Tok'ra operative (who turns out to be Jacob/Selmak) to request assistance in rescuing them.
